mine has covers u can put on and off. I would be wondering if I was you cause if it rains hard you def want to have the covers on so the water doesnt pool up where your COP are, dont want ya engine to go powwwwwww from water getting in the plugs.

We do not have covers for ours, but we fabricated our own cover for when the car is washed. Ours never really sees rain so the only time it ever sees water is when it's being bathed Just try and prevent large quantities of water from going in. We have had a couple of inquiries for people that use their stangs as daily drivers in areas of rainfall and were working on a manual under the hood cover mechanism (garage door shutter idea) but it never materialized due to lack of demand. Other than that, often times things will get under the hood through the grill or such vents that just need to be cleaned regularly and maintained.

I have the TruFiber KR Style Hood and I have problems with water getting into my engine, especially when I wash it.
Automotive Dezignz do you have anything that you can sell to us, that we can use, at the least when we wash our cars? It would be very helpful! I know I would be very appreciative!

I dont have problems with water when I wash mine, but if you hold a hose aimed into the engine bay, you will get water in there. I just shoot the water from the front of the car so the louvers deflect it.
You can put some mesh under the vents to catch debris.

Thanks "05Mustang" I think you have one of the sweetest rides on the forum!
Your right "MellowYellow06" it's not that bad but, it would be great to know that I could keep the engine bay spotless.. ;-) I thought about the mesh too but, I wasn't sure what I could use to hold it up... I was thinking of some kind of putty around the edges. You have any ideas or have you tried anything like that on your car?
