Default Shaker 1000 radio lights

Hi there, I am new to the website here and was wondering if someone could help me out... I have an 07 mustang with the shaker 1000 sound system in it and the CD player stopped working about a month ago. I since have had it replaced at the dealership where I bought it and now none of the preset buttons light up. I know this sounds odd but we do not drive the car very much and we can't remember if they were lighted before. If anyone out there has an 07 mustang with the shaker 1000 system in theirs and can tell me if theirs light up that would be great before I take it back to the dealership.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! This section is just about introducing you and your car. Your question might have a better chance of being answered best in the audio section. Good luck!

I have an '07 with the Shaker 500, and the buttons light up (except the on/off/volume button). Make sure you have the light intensity dial next to the headlight switch turned up enough, and don't try to check the radio buttons unless it's pretty dark. In sunlight, it might look as though they are not illuminated, even though they are.

The buttons only illuminate if the exterior lights are on.

Welcome to the show.
07 Shaker 1000 here. Yes the buttons do light up. They may not have got one of the wiring harnesses plugged in good or a piece of trash in there.
My CD player went out about a month ago, I had to have it replaced. Sounds like a common problem.
