Mine had 12. I asked the dealer about it and he told me that they randomly check cars that come off the line to make sure there are no problems. I picked mine up the day it arrived at the dealer so I know there were no test drives.

I had 23 on mine.. but I knew it would as they called me every time they were going to drive the car somewhere to get something done. it made 3 trips out..
1 - to have Auto Day Night / Homelink Mirror installed by a professional outfit.
2 - to have the Remote Start and Security System Upgrade installed by Professional Security Installer.
3 - to have the door panels "scanned" for correct color match to have dye made so I can make the rear seat panels match the front ones.

6.3 miles on mine and at least 4 of those were my test drive and they did take it to fill it up for me after they washed and waxed it. You would think they would have discovered the gas tank problem during that 1st fill up.

HILARIOUS!!
I picked mine up off the showroom floor. It had exactly 4 miles on it. Ten miles when I signed the papers after my test drive. She now has around 3800. Picked her up January 1, 2005 and haven't stopped smiling yet; even though she's not my daily ride.

Mine had about 20 miles when I took possession of it, but I put about half of those on it myself during the two test drives that I took. I probably would not have bought the car if I hadn't test driven it. That helped me discover that it was a much better car than I expected and that the V-6 has enough power for me. I had been thinking of a GT convertible, which are very hard to get around here, but I don't really need 300 horsepower afterall.

We had about 140 miles on ours but they had to drive it in from another state and we paid $125 to get it that way. At the time there were no Sonic Blue convertibles in our state!
