About to buy these

Would I need anything else with them?

If you are going to put them in it is alot easier if you have a pulley puller small enough to fit. They are a great buy. They will turn color in some cases...so ive heard. No you will not need anything else.

I installed this myself. Pulley remover is a must.

I merely went to Harbor Freight and picked up a set of pullers. They were cheap, and all I needed. You can rent the tool, but I figure they would come in handy if I helped someone else or needed to pull something else.

Keep in mind that you don't use a typical Ford crankshaft pulley tool for the S197. It uses whats normally considered a Chrysler-style puller.

The big brown truck brought my Steeda UDPs this afternoon, I will be doing my own in the next day or so myself.

It is recommended that you replace the crank bolt whenever you remove the Harmonic Balancer. The FORD part number is F5RZ-6A340-B it costs around $7.00 at your local dealer.

I am also replcing the Serpentine belt on mine but that is optional.

Good luck on your modification.
