Default Iphone and Sync Auto-Play

I have synced my Iphone via bluetooth and used it to play music one time over the bluetooth connection. Now everytime I start the car the Iphone connects and starts to play the music on the Iphone. The car is usually on radio when it starts so the sounds does not go through the speakers I just notice that on the phone the little play icon is at the top right. So I went through the settings and found the autoplay and turned that off. So now the phone still starts playing music but if I switch to the Phone input on the screen it will stop. I have the electronics package. Not a huge problem just a pain to remember to stop the phone each time I get in the car. Anyone else have this problem. Mabye FordEngineer can help on this one.

Thanks
Brandan

I think this is a known issue.

I have a colleague who has an iPhone. He has his own mess of issues that are specific to the iPhone (Apple HAS to be different, even when it comes to interacting with bluetooth devices, but I digress...). Nevertheless, I'll ask him about your issue, as this doesn't seem to be something he fights with on a regular basis.

I stand corrected. My colleague (and everyone else in the random survey of iPhone users I spoke with at work) report the same problem. Darn iPhone... ::shaking fist::

Mine isn't experiencing the autoplay bug. What I'm getting is constant breaks in the audio stream. It'll just drop out for half a second then pick back up. I use the iphone to listen to music all the time, but this is the first time I've done so over bluetooth. I'm assuming there isn't enough cache being built up, so the factory head unit has to pause the audio playback for a brief moment as it waits for the iphone to catch up. There must be a way to increase the cache, but since i can't find it, I assume its in a hidden menu somewhere.
