I wouldn't even take a repainted Mustang. OEM paint is the best.

I'm sure it was the way the dealer applied the product which caused the scratches - not the product itself. Maybe they thought steel wool would work better than a foam wax applicator.

You don't want the car repainted. What you want is for a detail shop to remove the scratches. Make sure that they do not use a filler to merely hide them, but that they actually remove them.

yeah dont repaint the car. A GOOD detailer will be able to get them to go away.

Dealers never cease to amaze me. The dealer I bought my new 2009 GT from tried to fix a small chip in the paint and now I'm in a 2010. I bet you can guess what they did to my car. Hope you can get the scratches out...and I'd make them pay for it. DON'T let them try to get it out....as they'll just dig a deeper hole.

I appreciate your support guys...I just do hope the scratches come out.

I got an appointment on Saturday and they told me they would "try" to buff it out.

If not...there will be hell to pay!

My salesman said he will back me up 100%, I just hope he does...

I put the xzilon on my self their nothing in it to scratch the car just the cloth the dealer used. it comes with a red cloth to apply and two micro cloth to remove. The paint is guaranteed with it so they also get paid to fix it.
