biblical post.......................thank you very much!!! yea, there are so many other kinds of mufflers out there. Even a simple glasspack test, magnapack blah blah - amazing work. Thank you for taking the time to do it!!! BTW GRUFMAN.............which would you pick if you have a convertible like me??

I love the M-5230-5GT or the M-5230-S (GT by a hair though) I was a bit disappointed how the Corsa's sounded considering how expensive they are. They sounded way to raspy IMO. The Borla Touring were really good from a burbly stand point. Probably the smoothest sounding IMO.

Anyone else feel like the stock GT sounded like it had a severe exhaust leak (ticking)?

That was the first time I'd heard the wide can type of Borla muffler.

I'd like to hear a Borla pro xs muffler on our cars.

I thought the Corsa setup was the best by far! No one else feels this way??
I did, and curious why the others didn't feel this way. Maybe they have heard the 500s in person. Dunno, but the Corsa sound great!

Although, after comparing again...I think I'm sold on the 500s as well. Those things sound AWESOME!

great thread! Im beginning to really dislike my Bassani's and threads like this make me regret it even more. I got them for 300 but ++++ I kinda wish I wouldv'e gotten something else. I hear a pair of flowmasters american thunder the other day n really digged them!! Not sure if the were the classics of the cheaper ones but Im not sure what the difference is between them cept price! I like the SLP loudmouths in the vid..

Only get the Flowmaster AC Classics (box shaped) if you LOVE drone at half throttle between 1800-2200 RPM's. These are getting old for me as a daily driver.....but I was warned. They do sound great otherwise and I get tons of complements from people who are NOT in the car. I thinking of going with the KR's and should have from the start.
