AJ, thanks for taking the time to snap & post some great photos -- appreciate it my friend.

The antenna is basically what I thought it would be: just a tad small on the base mount width, yet pleasing to the eye. And for me, the important part, it is short enough for my garage application needs.

If something doesn't come along soon(er) that's better, I'll get one of 'em. They're certainly cheap (inexpensive) enough, and better than my (I admit) lame-o idea of plugging a dome shaped pan head screw in there.

Plus, I'll probably even get a bit better reception than I already do! (And certainly on road trips it'll do wonders.)

Just love your vehicle AJ: that color is sweet -- it really shines through in the photos you took.

The S2000 antenna looks really pretty good. You could just take a tiny bit of black modeling paint and cover the little gap, but I am not even sure it is worth it. Looks good as is.

Thanks! I washed it yesterday and the 3 or 4 coats of Wolfgang sealant really make it shine.

I agree it looks pretty darn nice. I had my wife come and look at it and she said that it looked good - I had to point out that it doesn't match up perfectly with the base.
