Springs, UDPs, or Short-Throw

forget the udp's. 5whp you won't even notice. springs or MGW... that's tough...tough decision....man I can't decide they're both awesome mods!!
I wouldn't get springs w/o swapping the dampers as well...and two birds with a stone since you have to break down your front struts to swap the springs out. Get the MGW. You will LOVE it!!
Then save up for springs and new dampers at once.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you, not sure which one to do first the short shifter, springs or gears in my case.
I already got my UDP done and I did feel a notice performance wise. So I would recommend that, but which one after... I'll let you know once I figure it out haha.

Having had both the Hurst and the mgw shifters, I can say that comparing the mgw to the Hurst is like coparing the Hurst to the Stocker...
I vote for the Shifter. I've done UDP's, Had springs for a while, and the one that will make the most dfifference in the car, is the shifter.

Decisions, decisions.
Springs: yield a better street ride, lower stance so watch those speed bumps, and improved handling on a road course and in straight line. One of the most overlooked mods in bolt on upgrades. Upgrading your rear suspension (bars, LCA, springs, shocks, etc) with some slicks will knock at least half a second off your 1/4 mile times or more.
Shifter: you won't know if you don't try it. This is a personal preferrence.
Pulleys: for $200 and if you are a die hard horsepower nut go for it but you will only gain 7 hp & torque with them at best on a manual stang. Steeda claims up to 10hp/torque but I have not seen this on any of the 5 different mustangs (1990-2008GTs) at the dyno the best was a 06GT manual that gained 6.8hp/8lbft at the wheels which is not bad. Under 3000rpms the pulleys do nothing. The same if you want a CAI setup they do not build power untill WOT at 4000rpms. You will not feel UDPs power but you will notice the engine will rev faster.
If you do not believe me, keep in mind I am not trying to sell you anything.

Thanks, Chromestang, I think the biggest issue here is the money factor. I'm getting married in December, and the next few things I want are the high dollar ones... GT500KR front end, Whipple, wheels/tires, etc. If I get the springs, I'm going to want to do the rear suspension atleast at the same time, which will throw in abit more cash.
So, I'm going to go ahead and do the MGW. Thanks for all the input, guys!
