I didn't compare the second cam's numbers. So it looks to me, that cams from Ford will have the same RF-XXX stuff, but it's the second number that matters.

When I just now came back to this thread and saw my RF-XXX numbers was the same, I started to freak out. lol. But thank goodness my second set of numbers are different. The thought of paying $575 (well 600 after shipping) for stock cams made me ill. But it looks like that's not the case.

Come on Thanksgiving Day.....

This is going to be the slowest several weeks ever. At least I'll have enough time to get a new Brenspeed tune and my Bama tunes updated for cams.
I just got off the phone with Ford. Sorry to say that I got scammed and you got scammed also.

The part number RF referes to a Ford Production part. The XE in the hot rods referes to a NON-Production part. Any Cam that has RF WILL NOT BE HOT RODS. You got scammed and so did I.

....are you kidding me?? Unreal...

This thread is definitely worrisome, considering the lack of clear identification on these things. I feel for you guys...

The **** part about it is I am in Iraq and have no way of taking care of anything on my own right now so I have to rely on friends and family.
