Trunk pop button??
...and on the 2010 the button is right beside the shifter, next to the traction control and emergency flashers. I wonder if it is disabled when the car is in motion. Couldn't be good to accidentally hit it when at speed, and it's right there in the way, waiting to get accidentally pressed.
silverhorse racing makes a button that goes in your glove compartment. im thinking about getting it.

Before spending $35 or so, check out the mod posted somewhere here in the forum. If I recall, the materials might cost about $5-$7 at Radio Shack with some simple wiring. You won't get the pretty "Trunk Release" faceplate but the button is hidden anyway.
