Default Trunk pop button??

okay either i am mentally challenged or my car does not have a button inside the car to pop the trunk?

But you are correct, there is no trunk button on the 2005-2009 model years.

There is NO trunk release in the passenger compartment. Use the search feature to find the mod to add one. It's pretty simple from what I've heard.

...and on the 2010 the button is right beside the shifter, next to the traction control and emergency flashers. I wonder if it is disabled when the car is in motion. Couldn't be good to accidentally hit it when at speed, and it's right there in the way, waiting to get accidentally pressed.

Before spending $35 or so, check out the mod posted somewhere here in the forum. If I recall, the materials might cost about $5-$7 at Radio Shack with some simple wiring. You won't get the pretty "Trunk Release" faceplate but the button is hidden anyway.

I realized there was no trunk release button when I shut my trunk with the keys inside when I was 50 miles from home and no spare key. The extended warranty & AAA saved my *** on that
