bout my car

Read up on these S197's before going any farther. Lot's of things that worked on the older motors don't always apply to these 4.6L's. The stock TB and exhaust flow quite well. Changing either on a stock or non-modifed engine won't gain anything. Only headers, preferably LT's, will do something exhaust wise. An aftermarket TB has it's place on a FI engine or one modded internally that can use the air. AND STAY THE F*CK AWAY FROM TB SPACERS! LOL!
And welcome, too.

First and foremost, welcome!
Just like most others will tell you, forget everything you knew about those pushrod chevy engines because the 4.6l 3v is a whole 'nother mission. The only knowledge you can really carry over is that blowers and nitrous add power... taller rear end gears make you accelerate faster... and drag radials are good for traction... lmfao and that's about it! The stock heads, TB, Manifold, and exhaust flow reasonably well, L/T's wouldn't hurt though.
AND STAY AWAY FROM THROTTLE BODY SPACERS!
