I updated my version of sync to 3.0, it gives you traffic,directions,some sports and weather info. I like it so far its free for 3 years from the date of vehicle purchase. Let me know if anyone else has updated and if you like it.

I upgraded mine to 3.0 but I honestly haven't used any of the new features. Most of my trips have been really short since I'm trying to keep the mileage low on her for now.

 

I think it was great and when I found out about the update after I got my car, I posted the news here. This is the kind of feature that would make the deal for many a perspective buyer, having traffic, weather, etc for free and not needing the expensive NAV radio. In my opinion it is a freebie worth alot yet it is not advertised as such. Go figure...

yea that what i though to maybe after a more people update and talk about it more it will pick up steam.I'm going to try and update my 09' flex next.

 

I updated mine two days after I got the car. Read about the available update here. I also like it, I have a gps, but if I'm out without it, It's great to be able to get directions if I need them. A good feature that Ford should really be advertizing more...GM sure gets OnStar plenty of air time.
