Roll Cage price

Roll Cage price
Alright so I need some help on price for a roll cage. I personally don't need one but I have a friend that has a convertible and wants some support. She has gotten in an accident before with the stang and she is really worried about the convertible if it rolls since the soft top wouldn't do much. I did research and from what I found the styling bars offer no support (could be wrong though). So the only other option would be a cage correct?
I realize that it would look stupid if she puts the top down but just humor me for a second and help me with possible prices.

Thanks for the help....I imagine that none of those roll bars would give the top support correct? So then we are looking at the 2 cages they have listed. Any idea on how much install would cost?

Since you are in VA, I would recommend Piper Motorsport. I saw pictures of several custom roll bar set-ups they did on a couple GT500s. They are very well built and fit like a glove, along with being fully removable and not require any major interior modification. And since they specialize in rollbars and cages, you know it will be done right. If they ever offer a mail-order bolt-in, I will be ordering one.
Here's there link http://www.pipermotorsport.com/
And here's a link to some pictures a couple guys from Team Shelby posted http://s200.photobucket.com/albums/a...view=slideshow

You are correct as the styling does NOT provide any roll over protection as it merely bolts to the top of the rear a-pillar area. But what I really like about the Piper set-up is it allows you to keep the styling bar if you have one installed along with being a fully bolt-in and having well designed, contoured swing out side bars.

Talked to Piper and they are going to send me some pics of what they have done with other convertibles. They said that should stick to the 4 point roll bars that they offer. Roll cages aren't intended for street cars according to them which makes sense after they explain it but we will see what they have picture wise and price wise....thanks for the help guys
