you always give a straight opinion i dnt care i welcome all opinions i was just asking as to WHY u said it silly. on my old car i measured mor than 15 degree air temp drop, with the same idea..

a CAI is a great idea but most people dont realize its just bringing in hot air, get that air colder and it will show an improvement. if the temp on the mustang dropped 15 degrees no one can tell me it wont improve anything.

as to why im a "tool" i rly dont know

 

He is exactly right the threads and just everything you ahve said in your post...And just like boozshey said about the shaker some thing very minimal gains if any! why waste your time...But hey go for it!!

 

Last i remember "minimal gains" are the dif between win and loose in a drag. Not to mention why not try to get EVERY tad of power and performance out of your car ? Why is everyone so quick to say "oh it only gives you 1hp so its a waste of time" when did pushing the car for all of its worth become something to bash others about. It would seem that more people are content with not having 100% and would just settle for 99%.

Hahaha you have a v6 man not trying to go there but just saying what are you trying to race that you need that extra 1hp? *Just Saying* Nothing you do to your 6 is gonna make it worth it besides spray or boost... and your still gonna get beat by most stuff

 

So how is it that MY SIX, has more power than your GT??? why do anything to your GT its not worth it you just going to get beat by a GT500??

so stop changing the thread into a diff. discussion. im prouder to have a 6 that beats gt's than to just have a gt.

and any power gain on any car is worth it if the hp/dollar ratio is reasonable

Its the fact that all the little stuff adds up. And btw if everyone decided to listen to you almost no one would race. There is an 2000 Mustang V8 5.0 that has just over 1000hp at the wheels with a TT and SC on his block. Thing is, its about getting all i can out of my V6. Your right i wont win every race but in the end im having a blast, and thats what moding is about.


PS: And I do plan to go with an intercooled turbo, so its all worth it.
