Default extra cash, what to do

so i got appx. 1500 roughly for my birthday yesterday. now i need new exhaust bad, the dang pypes mm are about ready to get torn off. im really thinking of o/r h pipe and catback boom tubes as seen on stangmods.com. i will have some extra left, so im wondering what the next best thing is. i considered the "e" kit on rpmoutlet.com but not sure, (they dont offer the c&l, just bbk and k & n with kit) guess my choices are down to either 4.10s, 65mm throttle body or steeda udp. guess second question is if i were to switch to o/r h, is this a promised cel and is it necessarly harmful until i can get a tuner? thanks

If it were me, id go for some headers, boom tubes, gears, and CAI
Assuming you install yourself it should be easily affordable especially if you buy from someone on here.

$1500 is quite a haul! I'd be lucky to get $150 on my birthday.

My vote is for BBK LT's

for the exhaust, i would go with the o/r h and avoid the "catback system" just the mid muffler is fine and you don't have to spend all the extra money for pipes, the stock pipes are fine. here is a link for a sale on boomtubes from stangmods for $300 shipped

o/r h from jegs $160 shipped http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30599/10002/-1
maybe some new tips, nice new exhaust looks weak with the stock 2.5" tips, gears you are going to need a tuner to adjust the speedo, but i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting gears because they are SO much fun. so let's say between the exhaust and gears you spend roughly $900, you could get the c&l from AM for $612, but i would probably get the JLT for $530, both are the intake/tuner package

that JLT is something special? i may end up looking at bamachips or brenspeed, i think they have the package with JLT plus SCT for reasonable. and USC49, I really have to get something cat back, as i am replacing an entire system, the pypes mm, so i wouldnt have any factory midpipe left. now i started thinking to myself, that mac prochamber might be decent way insted of a stardard h pipe. last thing, does anyone recommend any places in Phoenix for labor on this. i have very limited means where i live to work. thanks gents

Do you live in an emissions county? You can run an off-road pipe but be prepared to swap it on/off every year along with a tune that enables your rear O2's to pass emissions if you do. And another tune that turns them off with the OR/H or look at the CEL. It's not harmful to have your rear O2's disbled but you won't pass emissions.

Remember...you will have to purchase the suitable mid-pipe for your longtube brand. Why must you purchase $1k headers?? JBA's kickass and they're like $600 in s/s variety. If you shop around, you could have longtubes, midpipe (CATTED even), AND installation for $1500. I did. I think I even had JBA axle backs included in that $1500, can't recall...so long ago. Most shops will give you a break on installation fees if you purchase the part through them. Just a thought. And my JBA non-coated s/s still look good 3 years later.

Yeah, you're halfway to a vortech s/c setup. Scrap all the mods and wait till next year, save another $800 and just get a vortech lol. You won't need the other mods you're thinking about .
