Default Need rear bumper help on a 2010 GT

I can't believe I did this but my only accident in 10 years was to back my <2 month old stang into a pole in a parking lot .

Anyhow the damage isn't all that bad there is a small easily fixable dent in the rear corner of the body, what I need advice on is this:

1. The bumper cover has some scrapes in it, can these be easily smoothed and painted?

2. The actual bumper itself pushed through the lower valance so I'm pretty sure its a wrightoff.

Because of the good driving record I think it may be cheaper to just fix it myself cause the increased premiums combined with deductible etc. Are there aftermarket rear treatments that can be had for less then the factory replacements?

I would just take it to get an estimate on it.

If there is damage on the body that chipped the paint or cant have paintless dent removal done to it, it will have to repainted.

The bumper can be fixed but they have to sand it down a bunch. Without seeing it I cant really say. I would have the body shop check it.

Your insurance will go up cause you will get a point as far as I know if you report it.

I think I get a $300-$350 yearly price break on insurance which I will lose, $250 for single veh accident plus deductible so it will probably be about $1k all in.

So far the Roush rear valance is $175 so that leaves quite a bit for the rest of the work before I can start to justify the insurance thing.
