Same here. Yeah, it's a little on the light side but it's better than nothing. Worth the $150 bucks I spent IMO.

That was just my opinion .. my wife ran 35% on hers and we both thought it was way to light. Ca has laws against tint but that's probably the least thing I get hassled about with Caution

I can tell the difference between tint even if it's only 35% and a non tinted glass. I got it to help cut down on heat and the sun shinning inside the back glass and you know what, IT WORKS!

Here they don't mess around. You'll even get pulled over for tinted license plates!

Im surprised Huntsville Police say anything about the tint. I'm a little south of you and tint is just not an issue here. Well, for me it hasn't been.

IMO, save your money on the 35%. I have a black GT and I have hated it since the moment it was installed. I plan on scraping it off and having 20% put on.

and the first time Texas DOT tickets you for the tint, you will be in here bitching about how stupid cops are and asking how to beat the law.

I grew up in Texas without tinted windows...it ain't that bad. the only reason to get anything darker than 20% is for looks IMO. darker than 20% and most people can barely see out of it at night...which is kinda stupid since you can't see and are a traffic hazard.

why woud you put tint on the windshield?...that is just...stupid

it isn't the daylight portion i'm having an issue with.

it's the night-time and other low light times. it's pure stupidity to reduce your visibility at nightime for the sake of "looking cool".

you can tell me to go "STFU" (real mature btw), and cruise in style...but I know first hand that the tint doesn't make that big a difference. I spent 20 yrs in Central Texas...it ain't that bright or hot outside.

It's a stupid idea no matter how you cut it unless you don't drive at all when the sun goes does down.

edit: btw, yes your car does look awesome. have to admit it looks great

It really doesn't change from the inside (look at the second pic) BUT I have always had really dark tint on all of my cars...And your saying it doesn't get hot in south texas? i just moved here but they had 106 degrees atleast everyday and no rain all summer till 2 months ago!
