Default Question about air temps

I just recently added the intercooler kit from brenspeed to my vortech set up and it is soooo tight when you step on it the IAT just drop its great! However, what are normal peoples cruising temps. My IAT is usually about 20-30 or so higher than my ambient temp just cruising. Where should they be at? Does that sounds right?

It does sound right. One thing I would check is the location of the IAT sensor. Some SC systems relocate the sensor away from the maf.

For example the IAT sensor for a Techco is on the back of the supercharger passenger side measuring temp of after-cooled air. the temp is indeed about 25-30 degrees over ambient at fairly aggressive city driving (ambient 80 IAT 105-110).

At highway fairly steady at 80mph (2700rpm due to 4.10 gears) drops to maybe +10 to 15 over ambient.
System efficiencies vary.

I do have a forced air system to my air filter so this should play some role too.

When i was running an air-air intercooler with my vortech sq2, I would see IATs normally around 2-5* above ambient.
