I have the 3.73 to, probably going with magnapack. i think i like the raspy sound instead of deep rumble.

Magnapacks are not that raspy unless you have an O/R X then it has a little rasp to it. My set-up is deep and only the slightest hint of raspiness.

There is some drone in the 2500 to 2800 RPMs, but don't let that be a deal breaker. It is not that bad at all. It doesn't really bother me, but I am not sure if it bothers my wife when she is in the car with me. I think the flow 40 series had before droned worse.

Hmmmm... I only have it at 2,000 5th gear 60 mph, maintain same speed, drop into 4th goes right away, hope not wasting 538 $ on magnapacks, the macs were 340, so get what pay for i guess

Alot of people talk about how bad MACs drone. I haven't been in an S197 with MACs, so I couldn't compare them to magnapacks. There was a video that demonstrated how MACs drone and from the VID, I think they drone worse than the magnapacks.

The FRPP Stingers (Borlas, -GT's, call 'em what you want) drone. Mine do in the 1500-1900 RPM range. But with my 3.55's and cruising at 70 MPH, I'm just out of the drone zone. I really don't mind it and neither does my g/f.

BTW, the FRPP Stingers can be had for around $450 last time I looked.
