I like the look of the Cervinis but they seem a little expensive. How about the prepainted scoops from rpidesigns? Does anyone have them?

id still say cervinis, they look ok but with all the money you have into your car do you really want to settle for something that doesnt look as great as the cervinis?

oh and to you and mellow, I had the cervinis window scoops too and just so you know ill never do that again. Makes backing up soooo much harder, I think they are not worth the risk. Just so you guys dont buy them and are stuck with them when they have been painted and installed. Its really a safety issue with the window scoops and louvers

I have the SHR Louvers and love them. The visibilty is still good.
I'm leaning towards the Cervinis scoops. Just need to pay a little more to get what I want.

+1 on Cervinis, I have roush 1/4 windows and can actuall see pretty good through the slots in them. My lower cervinis are great but the company I got them from pre=painted them and they are like 2 shades darker then my car. I will be getting them repainted soon but for sure keeping them.

My rationalization for why side scoops work so well on our cars is because what they really do is help accentuate that C curve behind the door. It doesn't add lines out of no where the way a hood scoop does ("not that there's anything wrong with that..."). Granted, you can say side scoops only imitate functional intakes but I don't feel they conflict with the lines of the car enough to be a nuisance.

im 50/50 on them, my freind put window and side scoops on with the trufiber hood with sharp cut edges, and i thought his looked more bulky, i didnt want to put scoops on becaue i think it looks "sleaker" without them. if you want a muscle look then get them, but i think that it looks sportier without.

I would agree that they add more of a 'muscle car' look, I really like those that come stock on California Special and Shelby GTs along with 3D Carbon rear quarter window scoops-it does make backing up more difficult but just requires being more carefull
