its not like you cant make the 05 pretty fast for cheap.... just not going to hold the power like the cobra does once you get to a certain point

yes they are...and that was the selling point for me when I bought my old 2005. I loved how I could stretch my legs and be comfortable....on the flip side though, that's what my buddy with an 03 Terminator doesn't like about the 05-09's. He says that he doens't like the "relaxed" feeling of the newer body styles...

Thanks m5! No plans on engine upgrades. Just dumped $4300 (Canadian) on wheels, tires and hood. I did the performance modifications with the Cobra to get it to 501rwhp. I "think" that cured my bug for upgrading. It was fun.....and expensive. I like the 05GT the way it is now. It is very comfortable to drive and I love the Windveil Blue (but hate that color name!) and the overall look of the car. Although I was aiming to get a 2010 GT when I sold the Cobra, this 05 saved me $20000........so I am very, very satisfied.

congrats on the new ride. i really like the terminators, but like you said the 05 probly won't be your last mustang. onto the next project is what its all about. i'll probly keep my GT for a long while, but i will also get other mustangs along the way. getting something different is always exciting.
