Default HID Headlights

Just out of curiosity, if I get the factory hids out of an '08 mustang will they plug right up and work properly on my '08 GT/CS? Also, does anyone know where I can get a black billet grille that sits in front of the fog lights, as in you cant see the fog lights until I turn them on? Thanks

They will flicker without the use of the proper wiring or reprogramming by the dealer (if possible to deactivate the PWM on the low beams). They may work and not flicker, although unlikely, if they did function as such the ballasts would prematurely fail.

You need the hid wiring harness and a few diodes from radioshack..theres a few write ups...I did it the same way as the write ups say and don't have any flickering on hi's or low's...let me know if you have any questions!

According to the above links, it will work fine, provided you supply it with enough power, hence the upgraded harness it comes with.
