Default Rust proof okay?

To make a long story short.. I had to fix someone elses mistake on the exhuast housing area out my where the mufflers sit. I ended up having to sand off a 2x4 area on both sides, under the rear of the chassis (around where the stock exhaust hangers sit) I then sprayed some anti-rust on it.. left side was a little thick, right side was okay. I also used an air tool to help speed up the process. Everything looks A-okay, though the surrounding edges show a little silver, though I can feel a think layer of coating on it (sprays on clear, dries black)

what do you all think.. pull out the mufflers before spring and re-sand, re-apply the anti-rust? or should it be A-okay??

Default

yeah, I know.. get the mufflers out and do it right!

(-:

I should have applied super light coats, use the air tool, repeat for 5-6 coats.

Would have dried alot quicker and cleaner as well.

oh well...
