If you're looking for "The Noise" from your supercharger, stay clear of the Roushcharger. Quiet around town - makes noise when you lean on it, but not all that much.

Do not have an in car video yet. My car is a vert so logically you would hear more the sound of the engine. It is not bad at all, top on or off. I drive top off most of the time, and I sincerely bless the moment I decided to go supercharged every friking second of the way to work..LOL I hope you get my meaning.

Other than that, KBs make alot of wine when they are boosting, same with whipple.
+1^^

I've heard many systems in person and the Procharger was by far the loudest. Whether the car was moving or sitting still, there was no mistaking the car was supercharged.

Under boost, the Whipple is awesome too! You can't beat the whine that comes from it when the car is accelerating.

Cutter: Yes I DO want to hear it all the time ! I love the sound of a SC no matter what style ..
Any TS S/C will have whine in varied audible levels...so many other factors can determine how loud any S/C is...

so true and I seen a thread like this before and the Saleen supershaker was hands down the loudest...

I have a whipple but it is not loud due to the side exhaust...on the dyno with the hood up any S/C will be louder ...just an FYI

sound clip of mine for ya...

on the dyno

I think alot of the total noise also depends on the PSI the blower is making.

8 psi doesn't sound like 16 psi.

I'll post a sound clip of my new KB at 16psi in a few months.

I find this post kind of funny. I have a Novi2200 and have no problem getting into boost when I want. lol Ive driven a twin screen Saleen S197 and have I actually have more top end than him. You make it out like itll take 15 seconds to hit full boost lol
