Vogtland spring pics (GT)
#5
I eventually went with Steeda Ultralites (at Sam's recommendation w/ my other components and stated needs) over the Vogtlands. I've been very happy with them so far.
As for the 1.3/1.3...I'm not so sure every spring manufacturer uses the same guidelines. And every car is different as well.

it might just be that picture and the angle. but yes the rear is a little higher. as far as how much exactly, i dont know because i am a retard and got 255/45r18 in front and 275/40r18 in rear so the rears are half an inch shorter so the gap looks bigger
heres a better pic. the tire would be a little more flush with the fender if i had a true 285/40r18 like an f1 supercar or kdw2 , but id still have the tiniest bit of gap.
my vogtland/koni setup rides way better than my buddy's eibach/tokico setup. tokico is a good damper so i'll lay the blame on the eibach springs.

I'd tend to gravitate towards the Konis making the most difference in ride.
I've ridden in several cars with Eibach, both pro-kit and sportline setups with Konis and d-specs (along with a few coilover setups) and the Koni cars all rode "better" to me. IMO, the damping is much better with the Konis. The Tokicos are a bit skittish. Don't get me wrong, both are immensely better than stock but I can feel the difference in damping quality between them.
I should have purchased the Konis from the get-go. I will eventually.

i have the vogtland and they are amazing! it rides like stock if not better and im still on stock struts/shocks. the back is still a little higher than the front just like stock. they are a progressive spring and they are only 150bucks. you also dont have to worry about sag and they give you the drop immediately. dont have to wait for them to "settle" like other springs sometimes.
