whats the weight of a 2006 gt premium with a manual gearbox? I heard somewhere that the 05's-06's weighed less than the 07+ due to more options being offered and something about more reinforcement in the chasis. everything i've read has the 2006 listed at 3,450lbs, but i did see one thing that had it at 3,356, but i wasnt sure if that was for the v6 or not.

There is a sticky on here explaining that the 4.0's weigh in at about 3300lbs. 3350-3450lbs for a GT sounds about right.

It depends on where you get your numbers from.

If you look at kbb.com you'll see slightly different figures for literally every year s197 GT made. Compare a manual from each year with same options and the weight is different every time.

The 2007 shows up at around 3350 pounds for the automatic and is the lightest of all of them. According to kbb... Also, Mishri has an 07 auto and his vehicle registration shows the same figure as kbb for the car.

My 06 manual weighs 100 pounds more than his 07 auto. If you believe the specs..

really? did you have weight reduction or something? like remove back seats or whatnot.

I've weighed mine couple times... with my butt in it (230lb) and full tank of gas was right at 3800 lb...

I always thought the auto tranny cars weighed more than the manual equipped cars.
