Default Silver Horse Racing...

Can anyone show me a pic(s) of the flush mount Silver Horse Racing window louvers on a Windveil blue I am really considering them, but would like to see them on WVblue first. Even if you dont have a wvblue I would still enjoy looking at other pic(s) also.

They come with a 30% tint embedded in the composite. Great visibility but dark from a distance.

Hey Thanks Mellow...by the way I was reading in another site about a guy who said he was quoted about $300+ and the shop said they needed the car for 2 days. Said it had to set up and cure, so it also couldn't be driven for a couple of days. I never heard of such a thing. Doesn't that seem a little high priced? and do you not drive it so the butyl or whatever it is can cure?

Wait, the shop quoted that guy $300 to install it or $300 for the windows and the install?

I just bought some a couple of weeks ago off of eBay. The guy bought them new, painted black from Silver Horse Racing but he wrecked his GT before he could have them installed. He sold them to me for $40.00. I just paid a guy $100 to paint them Vista Blue. He did an awesome job! Now I'm searching for a reasonable glass shop that will install them for me. I've seen the How Too's at the top of the page, but I don't have the tools nor the adhesive to do it myself. The cheapest price so far is $150.00. I'm going to call them back and see what price they would charge if I removed the interior trim.

I will say, the guys at Ford told me we should keep something on the clear part to keep it from turning white over time. Like the plastic on many cars head lamps, if not treated, the heat and sunshine will cause it to turn. I have PlastX that Meguiar's make. Here's the link;

1. 07Stang, that was 300+ just for the install. I think that is pricey as hell. I've been asking around my area who is good at caring for the customers car and does good work and doesn't rape you price wise. I also have the Mequires PlastX, good stuff. Thanks
2.pascal, Thanks for the link to lots of WV Blue pics w/ the SHR louvers.
3. Thanks for all the other pics everybody.
