Default Header question

Hey guys Im looking to add headers to my 07gt automatic after xmas. I asked for nothing but gift certificates from brenspeed so hopefully i get a few hundred dollars there. My question is they (brenspeed) are steering me towards the pypes headers. My question is can u use ur original exhaust after the headers have been installed. Not sure what to go wtih. I have heard the mustang exhaust is good enough but wanted some thoughts from all of u.

And just another note im adding 410's when i take it in. Should be fun!!!

Pypes Shortys will bolt up fine with stock exhaust but long tubes will require a new mid pipe

Any change beyond the H pipe will NOT provide any additional performance gain, only sound. The stock exhaust flows very well.

the mufflers are fine yes, but as said above if you get lts then you will need a new mid pipe and i personally wouldn't waste my money on shorties. i don't know about pypes headers, i have heard of nothing but fitment issues with their exhaust, so i would be a little weary.

Yes im looking to get longtube and brenspeed will be doing the installation as im not mechanically savy with a project like that so im not really worried about fitment.

Pypes fitment is rough sometimes but totally worth the effort

if brenspeed is going to do the install then pypes will be fine, just remember you are going to have to buy other things for the headers to work, mid pipe, tune, o2 ext, etc
