I haven't had my '09 GT even a year yet, now I wish I had waited. Don't get me wrong, I love my pony, but if I would had known at the time that the '11 GT could be possibly rated at 400 HP, no doubt in my mind I would had held out.

That would totally blow my mind if they do plan on having that option.
And I want Mercury to do a modern version of my 70 Cougar.
Withe the 5.0 Coyote of course...

Too close to $40K, and people will buy Shelbys.
I know I would, so we'll see...

All this talk about the new power for Ford's upcoming Mustangs has even got the Camaro dudes talking on their forums! Too funny! We knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of time.
I like the upgrade for the V6 but I think Ford could have done better. Why just barely squeak by the competition? They should put the same engine in the new V6, that is in the 2009 Lincoln MKS. It features a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 that can produce the power and torque of a V8 engine with the fuel efficiency of a V6. In addition, it produces 340 hp and more than 340 lb.-ft. of torque. That would really get the heads spinning at Camp Camaro!

I had heard they were supposed to be introducing the 2011 Mustangs at the LA Auto show, which starts this weekend. But the Mustang isn't mentioned:

Trust me....be happy with what you have. With more power comes a higher price tag. I "heard" the cobra's will be getting a bump in power as well, but maybe not until 2012. The V6 turbocharged motor would be nice as another option, but man the MKS with that option isn't cheap.
