^they would achieve something close to the slotted look I like that the 2010's have, but not quite the way I'd want it to happen

AVS tailight covers. I think they make the stock lights look smaller.

Really? That's awesome. I have always wanted LED 3rd brake lights though in a full red enclosure. There are always only the smoked or clear variant.
