Well, got my boom tubes yesterday and installed them. Man, what a perfect exhaust. I didn't think an exhaust could be loud, but not intrusive in the cabin. It's just so perfectly balanced. At some spots in the RPM range, it's quieter than stock. It has this wonderful mechanical baritone sound, I really can't describe it. It takes the good tones the stock exhaust makes, and amplifies them.

My complaints are the same as everyone elses however. They came scuffed up and scratched. The welds aren't pretty. They fit a bit odd and the exhaust clamps are terrible. They are, however, incredibly light and easier to install compared to the stock mufflers because it frees up so much room under there.

Buy them. There's really nothing better.

Boomtubes kick so much ***, you're correct that there's no words to describe it.

Boomtubes with stock exhaust is one of the best sounds you can get.

I read a bunch of threads with you and like two other guys loving boom tubes. Then I watched like 5-6 videos of it. Then, finally, I bought a set of my own. Thanks for the info, retrospectively.

Do they sound any different that SLP's? Both are basically straight pipes, right?

The boomtubes have baffles inside that help get rid of some of the raspy sound the SLPs have. You end up with a bit deeper, cleaner, sound.

Quite loud lol!

My high flow catted H pipe is very close to the sound of an o/r and it roars. The sound is less smooth though at WOT.
