I got the Deluxe 2010 GT... base model. And I was wondering if you needed the sync module in order to run a USB cable from the head unit? Also, if in the future, I were to replace the steering wheel (with the premium steering wheel with stereo controls), would I also I need to wire new cable harnesses to the head unit? (will the head unit even be compatible with steering wheel controls? is everything there just no cables type of deal?... because the sync controls are on the head unit... phone and such)

 

I want to know the same thing as well about the steering controls! Is there any certain wires we should look for behind our dash or does anyone know if the steering controls will work with the radio????

 

I was hopin FordEngineer would be able to hop in here and give some insight.
