Default What's the powertrain warranty for an 07?

I'm currently at 49770 miles and I have two more days of school which is another 200 miles easily. I've been having a little trouble with grinding/notchyness of third and second *should I take my car to ford and not drive it the next few days or do I have more time? I'm fairly sure it's 50k but I haven't seen that officially

The 08 is 5yr/50k, not sure of the 07, but it certainly isn't more unless you bought the extended warranty.

it depends on what your car came with, some came with 5-60 powertrain others just the 3-36 bumper to bumper, and some came with 5-60 and roadside assistance, I found this out when someone posted a link that could pull up your window sticker. I ran a few different vins including my own and found this out, best bet is to run yours.

Thanks, i found my warranty guide and it turns out i have all three of those plus an extended warranty. So now im not as worried. Now ill just see if the problem persists. I didnt notice it much today but i still dont trust it.

Also, im reading the things that are considered normal wear and tear and it mentions clutch discs. What exactly is it referring to and how long do they normally last? Is it something that will be costly when it comes time to replace?
I plan on keeping my car for quite a while and next semester i will be driving to school 5 days a week 90 miles a day so i wanna make sure she lasts for me.

Wow, and I thought my powertrain ran out at 3/36. Good to know...though my warranty would probably be instantly void anyway when they pulled it into the shop . If my car was a lemon I would have found out about long, long ago. This car is a tank

Tell em' to swap your tranny fluid with royal purple synchromax. I had notchiness and shifting issues as well till I swapped that fluid in at 15k. It's like butta still at 42k miles. Your synchros are wearing at ~50k, thats what you feel.

The dealership probably won't agree to put anything other than their crapzola fluid in there...

that is all it may have, in '07 some of the cars did only come with 3/36, I would check your window sticker if you have it, or search and find the post that links to a pdf that when you enter your vin will show you your window sticker and its on that.

Mine is an '07 as well. Mine is 3/36 bumper to bumper, 5/60 powertrain and roadside. I've got 46k on mine and just had my water pump replaced under the powertrain warranty so I know it's good.

Ford extended the powertrain warranty on all 07 Mustangs to 5/60k, regardless of what your window sticker says. My window sticker said 3/36 and I got a letter in the mail a few months after I bought the car notifying me of the change
