I learned my lesson, I'll never buy a new car ever again, I wish I had all that money back in my pocket and bough the C5 instead.. Sure it was higher miles and no warranty but I was willing to roll the dice.

I sold some property and used some of the $ to buy an E-350 Box Truck and the Mustang.....on the same day at the same dealer. I know it made their day.
It did feel good going home with two brand new vehicles knowing that I didn't owe one red cent.
Now if I had been a member here before I made that purchase, I probably would have gone with the GT500. Oh well, I happy. Just waiting to see if Ford will redesign the taillights in the Mustang in the future.

It feels so good to have a 2010 GT premium and be able to check off the paid off option! Thank you Iraq.

i was in the exact same boat a couple of years ago. chose a new mustang instead of a used c5. now im stuck with enormous depreciation. sucks.

no more new cars for me.

Paid cash for my '07 GT in June '07.
Paid cash for my '08 4Runner in November '08.
Paid cash for the g/f's '06 Pony in April '09.

Thats' what a good job and one of two kids finally out of college will do. Oh, crap... That's right... I've been unemployed since May. Guess I should start looking for work in January so I can buy more toys! Besides, I need to get rid of my "old" bass boat for a newer one.

Anyone else notice how these threads always turn into an "I'm more successful that you" contest? Awesome.

If I had ended my post with this... ... then I'd have implied "I'm more successful than you".

Actually, I consider myself fortunate, lucky and intent on enjoying that which I earned through hard work before I'm too old to enjoy it.
