Cool? Not at all. Practical for drag racing, absolutely yes.
Get a good solenoid, like the Jegs one, and appropriate lines.

i thought about line locks. i thought theyd be cool, neat to do sick burnouts in parking lots and such. but itd burn through your tires fast. i dont know if i will do it, but i think it would be neat.

If you're buying it to do burnouts and impress your friends, don't do it. It's stupid and juvenile. If you go to the track and want to heat up some slicks, worth every penny. I recommend a dual solenoid kit if you have ABS. Piedmont Modular Performance makes an excellent kit that utilizes JEG's solenoids. I installed it in a couple of hours. I used to run the Granatelli dual solenoid kit, and while it worked great, its location interfered with my whipple install.
