Default Headers and pricing

Has anyone noticed the difference in Long tube headers pricing on American Muscle. Was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the pricing vs. the brand.

SLP's long tube headers are 900+
JBA are mid 5's along with BBK's.

There isn't any real mention of comparing gains, but the price difference sure is huge.

I plan on adding an H / X pipe with the headers.

theres an article form some magazine that tested each companys headers and gains it made, hopefully someone will post that link. Usually the price difference has to do with fitment and quality.

Thought SLP used to mostly focus on GM stuff. Hopefully someone has that link. Would be curious if there is that big a difference to almost double the price.

if youre looking into headers, i would reccomend kooks, they are priced around slps and made the most power in that magazine. If i didint have emmisions testing i would get kooks long tube headers

I recommend kooks lt. If you put lts on your car then you will have to go with no cats or high flow cats.
