Why do we sound like a friggin Prius forum? Next Topic, Hypermilling!

P.S. the Avg mpg and mile thing i think only came on the cars that had the interior upgrade (My color) package IIRC.

I hate priuses.

Ever watch the south park episode where the adults that start driving them act like their shiz don't stink? Most prius drivers are retarded anyways, they don't comprehend that while the car is gas miser, the amount of chemicals and other carcenogens that are required to make the batteries and later dispose of them, far outweighs the detriment of burning gas in a regular car. Even an H1 is better for the earth than a prius.

On a local forum here in NC one of the guys pointed out in a certain area of raleigh, there is a unmarked Mustang GT and a Camry...The guy says and this is so right on, " How can a soccer mom worry about talking on the phone, answering the Blackberry, yell at the kids and put a new DVD in and have to worry about some cop in a camry pulling her over doing 85, don't they know she's stressed enough" LMAO, hey if I want to open my GT up, that's who I get behind.

Is there a direct correlation to the octane of the fuel you use to the MPG you get? In other words, ive always been of the mindset that the higher octane you use, the better fuel economy. Has anyone here found out any different? Anyone here seem to get better economy with 89 or 87 octane?

You'll get better performance with 91 octane because the ECU will advance your timing. This might yield marginal MPG gains - but I wouldn't count on it.

I've wondered this too.
