need advice on exhaust
Just had the flowmaster 40 series weld in's installed, i am definately liking the sound of it, not crazy loud and has a nice rumble to it, definately better than stock. but anyone have any opinions on which midpipe to add? the shop that did my muffler install said he could build me an x pipe, removing the cats and all that good stuff also, for 75 bucks, but a buddy of mine has a pypes o/r h for 75. plus the install price of around 50 bucks, dont want to make a bad choice over 50 bucks ya know, so what kind of advice can i get from you fella's?

The mufflers need to break-in and will deepen a bit over time/mileage. I wouldn't bother with a midpipe but that's your choice.
As far as the O/R X, you are aware that you'll need a tune to turn off the O2 sensors. But if you're going to go that route (loosing the cats), then I see LT's and maybe cams in your future!

$75 for a shop to make a x pipe from scratch seems kind of low...are they simply hacking out the cats, welding in 2 new sections and then hacking out the H and welding an X ?
if you have tech inspections or something later on, you may be better off buying the X pipe from a friend and keeping the stock H pipe to swap when inspection time comes around
