im at a toss up can't tell if i like it or if it just too weird lookin.
completely changing gears, is there a way to measure how much added power ram air will give you?

nah. its not consistent like forced induction which can give you a idea. when going down the road you will always have diffrent amounts of air bein forced through those vents.

Over 75mph you will get minimal if any gains at all. Over 150 is where is suspect the gains will come into play. But you still get the added feature of cooler air getting down it's throat.

There was this huge thread concerning RAM air and it effects and the requirements / physics involved. A good read too.

I like it for looks and airflow around the engine is never a bad thing.

....I have a model of the '05 concept and it has a hood like that. I think it is an '04 concept because it has the 40th anniversary badges on it, but it looks like the '05 LOL.

Ordered up the GTR Ram Air Hood from RKSport and just got it today!
I plan on test fitting this weekend before paint next week, I'll post pics before and after.
The California Dream hood was just to different for me so I went with the classic scoop.

Before I read the rest of this thread I was going to say the GTR Ram Hood did look better I thought, the other one to me is too raised, Do like the Ram Air Hood http://www.rksport.com/product/p_18011000/view_detail , think I am going to purchase this one when my time comes...if ever.

I like the looks of that hood. IF the vents are functional, getting cold air under the hood ia ALWAYS a good thing!
