Default how bout these gears??

I don't know. I have read you never want to install a set of "used" gears. They are worn in and you can not get them re-installed without noise. Maybe somebody else can give a different take on the question, but that's what I've read.

Yeah......bad idea. Gears are nothing you want to skimp on.

i actually put used gears in my car(bought them from a member here) and have had no problem whats so ever, i have to admit i was nervous as heck though. my installer said that it wasnt a problem and no noise

so the general opinion is to pass on these on ebay and pay $100 more for frpp gears brand new?

Yes.

It will cost you allot more than $100 to replace and/or fix things if you have problems.
