Does anyone's pypes tips stick out farther than you like or is it just me. Mine stick out like 2 inches Im thinking about cutting an inch out of the pipe and making them sit back in the bumper a bit.

They did but I ditched them as I like double walled tips better, and they just looked cheap to me.

i have the MM on the SGT, as most of you know it is lowered, (i think 1.5 or 2.5) and i have hit it maybe 3 times. twice over high speed bumps and once entering a steep driveway. i will attempt to snap a couple of pics, the damage isnt too bad, the noise was worse than the damage. the sound is good if thats what your into, i prefer it louder, i cant argue the sound quality just too quiet for my taste. i am ditching mine soon for O/R H (or prochamber) with cat back boomtube system, now thats more along the lines to me. i believe we have a general yes nod on the sound, just not the fitment

try the mid mufflers with the o/r pipe first. It is ridiculous.

i have them with a off road X pipe and they sound awesome. Best i have heard on a s197. i just had them welded today, so no rattles or leaks. I had to gently hit the tips in with a soft mallet to equal the lengths. I highly recommend getting them welded.
