Default Car audio experts!!!-Is this possible?

so i was kinda thinking of doing up my audio over anything.
plans i had was to get a sick sounding system to blast extreme metal, but i also wanted something that would allow me to plug in my guitar AND/OR a record player into an interface in the trunk. both would be pertinent to my interests. how would i go about doing something like this?!

Assuming you have a AUX input like my factory 07 system does you already can. Just take an electric guitar, plug into a power source, send the output into the AUX. You will need a cable or adapter that will go from the guitar sized cable to the aux one (i forget the size/name of the two)

Ive got an adapter i got from home depot that i ocasionally use to plug into the mic input on my comp (same as aux imput on car) and play through my computer or use it to record a little.
Only problem might be the static/extra noise messing with your speakers. Might be a good idea to have some kind of filter or crossover?

If your definitely gonna replace the speakers you should try getting an adapter from radio shake and playing through your stock setup. It should sound fine. Infact im tempted to try that tomorrow.

yeah i guess your right about the AUX input. I just wanted something cool in my trunk with ***** similar to ones on a guitar amp.
Also i'm not exactly sure how i would go about making it work with a record player

you can do a amplified system and then put a signal processor in line so you have like a audio mixer. Or you can actualy run a sound board and mount it in your trunk, then just hard wire a 120V converter in. None of what your trying to do is that hard, as most car and audio stuff runs with RCAs and the mixer will have the guitar jacks on it, while giving you the effect your going for.
