I bought my 2010 Stang Coverable with out the nav installed But payed for one. The dealer told me that they need to wait for the after market bezel to be put out by ford for cars that did not come with it this should happen around DEC any one know when this will happen

 

so you have regular looking shaker 500 dash, i wanted convert mt standard to the nav but they said have to have a audio cust shop install but would not look same?

 

Totally confused. My 2010 GT Vert is on a train with factory NAV. I've personally sat in a 2010 GT Vert with NAV. You claim you paid for it but it seems your dealer offered a 3rd party NAV kit in order to move it off the lot. The issue is between you and your dealer. In addition there may be some truth that there is a lack of replacement bezels for the 2010 interior.

 

Yes I called to day Ford has told them new Bezels will be out any time now

A) Pay for Factory Nav (the Electronics Package), received a car without it (mis-build), and now the dealer wants to retrofit your car with Factory Nav?

B) Pay for Factory Nav (the Electronics Package), received a car without it (mis-build), and now the dealer wants to retrofit your car with some Aftermarket (Non-Ford) Nav?

C) Pay for Non-Nav vehicle (No Electronics Package), received a car without it (proper build) but changed your mind, and now the dealer wants to retrofit your car with Factory Nav?

D) Pay for Non-Nav vehicle (No Electronics Package), received a car without it (proper build) but changed your mind, and now the dealer wants to retrofit your car with some Aftermarket (Non-Ford) Nav?

E) None of the above. Go Away, FordEngineer.

 

what kind of nav are talking about? the one with the screen or the one without?

I am kind of curious if you can add the touch screen (porb not).

 

my question is how big of a issue is to replace a shaker normal radio dash w/ the big ford nav screen, and is there a way to increase the time out on the mirror camera . the nav sytems stay on about 12 secs when going forward, the one in my mirror goes out in 2 sec, maybe 3?

 

I have the NAV system and as soon as I am done in reverse and shift into 1st gear the rear camera picture is gone.... no 12 sec delay on mine

 

It's supposed to be a delay, i think book even says, may be a setting you can make.
