Default Callin HID Guys

Hey fellas, this christmas i got some HID's..The Question i have is there some type of bypass for the headlights not to go on when you use the Remote to unlock the doors? my brother was tellin me its not good to turn on/off quick the HID's cause the ballasts will eventually burn out, they need time to turn on and off..It's Cause when i unlock the doors the HID's kick on then when i start the car they turn off then on real quick and i dont wanna mess them up so any info on this? i got 5000 dual Hi/lo beam.He did the install and it loos great , looks like factory he's really good with wireing so he told me to post it up on the forum and ask and if there is he'll make the adj...thanks guys..

I think the instructions on mine said mine can withstand the quick turn on turn off feature. Mine turn on when I unlock and then if its night time I have to turn them on right away... we'll see as they get older...

Read the owners manual. Im not sure about the V6's but on my GT the fog lights flash because I have the OEM HID's. A service guy told me that in your maunal there is a way to disable the exterior light flash when you disarm the alarm. But I also have the active alarm system, don't know if all this makes a difference but I would look in the manual.

Owners Manual.
Despite popular belief, the Owners Manual will NOT burst into flames if exposed to light and the human eye...
