HOTRODs IN!! W/before and after vid link!
ok finally got em in. local shop here in Ft Walton Beach, FL did it for 600. i was going to get it dyno tuned but the dyno shop does not have the updated software from SCT so i had to get a brenspeed tune until monday when SCT goes back to work. well here is a link to the vid. let me know how it sounds because i think its not lopy enough and im wondering if tweaking the tune on my Xcal will improve it. i got the idle in the vid set at 750rpms.

You got lucky!
The problem is, most who get hot rods for some reason have manuals. Very few have autos so the o/d flashing issue is not as well known as it could be.
Justin Burcham from JPC told me in a recent email that he had a customer call him about this problem, had the car tuned (I assume a JPC tune) and the problem went away. Justin knows this can be fixed in the tune. He wanted me to send him my tunes so he can look over them. I sent my Brenspeed and BBR tunes. I don't know if he can open those files, I hope so.
I really hope to get my BBR tune all fixed up b/c that tune kicks ****. The low end torque is A LOT higher than any other tune I have ever used. I was surprised how much low end their tune has and I didn't think this engine was capable of so much. I was constantly spinning the tires like mad without even trying. This is a real torque gain too, not a touchy throttle trick as seen in Bama's Race tune. This is nothing like that. It's a "slap ya mama" torque kick. Too bad the tune can't idle at all and also has the trans issue b/c otherwise it's a killer tune.
