Default Bought shelby exhaust tips, getting cold feet...

Well, I bought some Shelby Chrome Rolled exhaust tips, which are supposed to slip right over the factory tips. Since mine look relatively small and dirty, I figured the bright new ones would be an improvement.

Does anyone have these? I'm having doubts.
The AM description says these tack weld into place, so does that mean they can't be clamped, and any installation would be permanent? Also, would the factory tips show under the new ones and make it look cheap?

I dunno, if no one has them, I'll just slip them over and make a decision for myself; if not, I can just return them.

I could just cancel the order and save for axle backs. The thing is, I wanted to do the Kooks LTs/Catted Midpipe/Magnaflows all at the same time, and I don't really have the cash for all that at the moment. (I work part time and go to school) so I was just thinking chrome tips as an aesthetic upgrade for the moment, so I don't have those dirty, dinky little poles sticking out of my cutouts. So what do you guys think, should I cancel the order and save a little for magnaflows, and then replace the headers and midpipe at a different time? Or should I just install the tips and save to get the entire setup all at once?

At least you won't have to worry about drone with just the tips.

I'd sell you my flowmaster axle backs for the same price. Just pay shipping.

They're fake exhaust tips. You might be overthinking it a little.

Yeah man, if I were you, I'd cancel the order and save for axle backs.. It's not to awful much more money and it'll make your stang sound better, unlike the tips.
