Default Driver Side Window Problem

Happy New Year All!

I have a 2006 GT Premium 5-spd - Convertible.

My driver side window all of a sudden stopped going all the way up when I just touched the "up" button - noticed it yesterday. I now need to "hold" the up button until the window closes. Note: My passenger window goes up with just a touch of the button - as it should.

Any help?

P.S. I just got a new battery yesterday if that is a factor...

Thanks!

It sounds like you need to perform the procedure to recalibrate the power windows. I believe this is printed in the manual somewhere.

+1 on the recalibration. And replacing the battery was more than likely the reason. No need to sweat.

It's amazing how many times this comes up, especially since it's clearly discussed in the OM.

Thanks - found it in the manual and all is well. Hope this helps someone else sometime...
