question about plugs/gap needed for nitrous
Hey guys,
I just recently bought a ZEX nitrous kit for my car (direct port)...I will be running a 100 shot on it and no more and will be getting a dyno tune for it because I dont know how much I would trust a mail order nitrous tune...will my stock plugs with stock gap work good or will I need to get some HTO plugs or will I need to re-gap the stock plugs??? any help will be greatly appreciated

I have been looking at exactly the same thing. Zex says a step colder plug gapped at
.035. Brenspeed says two steps colder plug gapped at the same. Believe me I've done some research and with a 100 shot your gonna have to have two seperate tunes. One for track at 100 shot and one for street running your local octane. If I do the Zex I'm doing the 75 shot. In most cases doesnt require a tune nor an expensive set of colder plugs. If you want the extra 25 ponies do headers or underdrive pullies or somethin. The trouble for the 100 shot of nitrous aint worth it IMO.
