Default Door trim removal

Hey guys. I ran some wires from my laser jammers(i will explain more later if needed) through the rubber gasket into my car. The wires (which there are 3 of) are all zip tied right below the steering wheel where the dash ends. Due to there being extreme amounts of excess wire, I wanted to relocate these wires to the plastic box that has the hood release. Plus the feet heater seems to blow on these wires and i dont want that to cause anything. How can i access this box (AKA take off the plastic). I know the trim that says mustang at the bottom of the door trim (on the car itself) just pulls off but the rest seems to be held on there pretty tight.

So does anyone know how to take off the plastic around the hood release? And does anyone know how much space is in there?

If this box does not have enough space does anyone have an ideas on where i can store these excess wires? Any where on the drivers side would be nice.

Thanks

It should just pull off. I think there is a clip in the back by the firewall and a couple in the front near the door jam. There is a decent amount of room back there for a few wires. I have my alarm brain box and wiring back there.
